Argassi is a busy tourist resort, at a distance of 4km away from the capital of the island. It has a close beach and hotel complexes that climb the slopes of Mount Skopos. The sights of the area are the stone bridge on the beach, built in 1806, and Kamara, at Vrysakia, which is an important part of the irrigation project of the English domination. On the hill above the Argassi there is a place with toys for children and a small zoo. Indeed, at the exit of the village there is the tower of Domenegini, known as Diavolospito because of the reputation that it was haunted.
